Project Description
The Chicago Transit Authority’s (CTA) All Stations Accessibility Program (ASAP) is a long-term effort to improve accessibility across the CTA system. Of the 42 stations not currently meeting Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, the program will address 21 vertically inaccessible stations through the installation of elevators and other accessibility improvements over the next 20 years.
The project team provides program management services to support the planning and delivery of these station improvements. This includes developing project master plans for each station that establish scope, schedule, and budget at the concept design level. The plans are refined as projects advance through design and construction, helping guide each station from initial planning through project delivery.
The team also supports CTA’s Infrastructure Division Capital Improvement Program Quality Management System (QMS) and uses e-Builder to manage document reviews, approvals, and project documentation. These services help maintain consistency, coordination, and quality across the program’s multiple station improvement projects.
