Project Description
The Cascade Trail Expansion project included geotechnical services supporting the extension of the regional trail and the design of a new bridge over Brickyard Creek. Our geotechnical team evaluated existing site conditions and developed recommendations for safe, durable trail and bridge improvements.
Services included geologic mapping, subsurface exploration through geotechnical borings, and recommendations for grading, subgrade preparation, and permanent embankment stability. The team also provided geotechnical design and construction recommendations for the Brickyard Creek bridge, along with guidance for site drainage and erosion control. A comprehensive geotechnical engineering report documented the team’s findings and recommendations to support successful project design and construction.
