Project Description
The Estacada Water Treatment Plant Upgrade modernized the City’s aging water treatment facility to increase capacity, improve reliability, and support future community growth. The project replaced the existing conventional rapid sand treatment plant with a state-of-the-art membrane filtration system capable of producing up to 3.9 million gallons of treated water per day, including 1.3 million gallons of redundant capacity.
A key challenge of the project was maintaining uninterrupted water service throughout construction. The existing treatment facilities were carefully demolished and replaced while the new membrane filtration plant was installed in phases, ensuring continuous water production and a seamless transition to the upgraded system.
