Project Description
The Mile Long Bridge project on the Tri-State Tollway included Phase III engineering services to support construction inspection and oversight for multiple construction contracts. The project involved complex construction activities requiring ongoing coordination and environmental oversight throughout the work.
The project team provided construction management services focused on field inspections, stormwater compliance, and implementation support. Our responsibilities included routine, pre-storm, storm event, and post-storm Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) inspections, troubleshooting Best Management Practice (BMP) issues, and coordinating field improvements with construction teams and project stakeholders.
Our team also communicated inspection findings and site conditions to help address issues quickly and maintain compliance throughout construction. Through proactive communication, field oversight, and environmental monitoring, the team helped support quality construction practices and successful project delivery.
Work performed by 2IM Group, now part of MacKay.
