Project Description
The Valley Vista Landslide Remediation project addressed slope instability at a 37-lot luxury residential development following a significant landslide. The failure included a 180-foot-long scarp and an approximately one-acre landslide body, with additional localized slope movement identified on neighboring properties.
Our team performed a comprehensive landslide analysis and developed engineered solutions to stabilize the affected areas and provide long-term site resilience. The remediation design included a deep pile wall system with tieback anchors to stabilize the primary slide area, along with grading improvements, drainage enhancements, rock buttressing, and site restoration recommendations for secondary slide areas.
Long-term monitoring was implemented to evaluate seasonal movement and confirm the effectiveness of the stabilization measures, helping protect the development and surrounding properties for years to come.
