The firm provides planning, design, construction management, and program management services across a range of infrastructure and transportation-related markets, including aviation, rail and transit, highways and roadways, utilities, and facilities.
2iM’s services include civil and site design, water resources, environmental engineering, natural resources, landscape architecture, construction management, program management, and rail and transit-related services. Their technical capabilities and client-focused approach complement MacKay’s existing service offerings and strengthen our collective expertise.
2iM joined MacKay in February 2026, this acquisition expands MacKay’s geographic footprint into the Midwest and strengthens the firm’s technical capabilities across infrastructure and transportation-related markets.
Nelson Geotechnical Associates, has joined MacKay. Nelson, based in Woodinville, WA, with a presence in Wenatchee, WA, brings a strong reputation for geotechnical engineering services across the Pacific Northwest, along with long-standing client relationships and a team known for quality and responsiveness. Nelson is known for its work in geotechnical engineering, including subsurface investigations, foundation design, slope stability analysis, and construction support services.
